Physical therapy and remedial sports/athletic therapy is a branch of healthcare which provides the diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation and prevention of injuries and musculoskeletal problems.
At 360 Physical Therapy we aim to bring together all the disciplines from sports medicine to treat and prescribe a bespoke rehabilitation programme, which is an integral part of any injury management treatment plan, whatever your activity levels. We also work on how to prevent such an injury reoccurring by education and a prehab programme.
Using a working diagnosis from the assessment, 360 Physical Therapy will offer a wide range of techniques based on the latest research that are specific to your needs.
360 Physical Therapy offers field coverage and pre/post event coverage of sporting events and teams. We are highly skilled in both injury prevention as well as emergency care procedure and are a great value to sports teams and organisations.
Treatments and rehabilitation programmes may include:
- Therapeutic Modalities (ultrasound, interferential currents, microcurrent, laser)
- Manual Therapy (massage, joint mobilization, NMTs, myofascial release, traction, METs, PNF, SCS)
- Taping (pre/post event, Kinesiotaping, supportive, orthopedic bracing, postural, athletic)
- Motor re-programming, Balance / proprioceptive training
- Sports specific exercise
- Pitch-side first-aid
- Pre/post game/event
- Prehab training
- Biomechanical assessments
360 Physical Therapy is dedicated to actively working in a partnership with the patient to ensure a positive rehabilitation experience while maintaining the highest quality of services provided. We are experienced in treating non sports and sports related injuries and establishing, progressing appropriate, comprehensive rehabilitation programmes for timely and safe return to any type of activity. We also establish conditioning programmes focused on fitness and preventing injury for any level of activity.
An acute injury can easily become chronic if left untreated, and a chronic injury can go into a vicious continuous circle causing secondary injuries. If you have a big sporting event or reoccurring injury that is affecting your performance or day to day activities, please do not hesitate to get in contact with 360 Physiotherapy.
