Chobham boys on tour in Zambia

Four of Chobham’s u17s are currently in Lusaka, Zambia coaching Tag Rugby. They are there with Woking High School, representing the Tag Rugby Trust; coaching the children of the Joseph Linda School and providing ‘train the trainer’ for the teachers.

The group of 30 boys and girls are also helping carry out renovation of the school buildings and compound while there. After coaching at the school they will go on a safari to Victoria Falls.

The Chobham representatives are Ross Davidson, Oliver Gilbert, Ben Murrin and Connor Norman-Walker who; following on from their GCSEs, have a once in a lifetime opportunity to give something back to those less fortunate than themselves.

Before they left Kam O’Brien who runs the Chobham Shop  gave Connor old kit to take with him including old tour shirts and drill tops, water bottles, shorts and t-shirts.

Thank you to everyone at Chobham Rugby for your support.
