Club Hire


The Chobham Rugby club house is available for hire. We can cater for all sorts of events from wedding receptions, private parties, corporate events,  meetings and regular bookings. We also have space for bouncy castles and a large patio for BBQ’s. The club hall can cater for 200 standing and 128 seated. The seated figure is based on the fact that the club have 16 ‘go-pack’ tables which each seat 8.



We have the facility of an overhead projector, large screen, with surround sound audio and laptop point/plugin. We are licensed to sell alcohol until 12.30 am depending on the day of the week  and all music must be switched off at midnight.

Unfortunately we are unable to accommodate 18 to 21st birthday parties and this also includes wedding receptions that fall into this age spectrum. In addition, the club hall cannot be booked on Saturdays during the rugby season which generally lasts from September to April.

Hire Costs

We charge £160 incl. VAT with a £150 deposit of which £130 is refundable and £20 goes towards cleaning costs. The cost includes the use of the kitchen but not the utensils or crockery. Additional hire items – black out curtain on all the walls, £160 incl. VAT. A stage which measures 8′ x 4′ x 4  at £50 incl. VAT. We currently charge bar staff by the hour and we provide one bar staff per 30 guests.
