The safety of children, young adults and at risk adults is of paramount importance and Chobham RFC takes the subject very seriously. We are committed to ensuring that ALL young people or adults whatever their age, culture, disability, gender, language, racial origin, religious belief and/or sexual identity have the right to protection from abuse and to enjoy the game of rugby in a fun environment, safe from any kind of abuse.
Chobham RFC is proud of our track record in developing, maintaining and implementing Safeguarding rules and regulations, having been awarded the London South and Surrey Regional Award 2010 in part for recognition of the priority we give to the implementation of our safeguarding policy and procedures.
Those procedures are intended to safeguard both the young people and at risk adults with whom we work and also our tireless, professional team of volunteers. They are also intended to assist with maintaining the professionalism and safeguards of good practice which are associated with the RFU and the sport of Rugby Union.
Please take the time to read our Safeguarding Policies and Club Codes of Conduct which have been designed to protect your children.
