Join us at the Chobham Rugby Inaugural City Lunch

On Thursday 26th May 2016 the club embark on another first – a Chobham Rugby City Lunch.

Enjoy an opportunity to join fellow Chobham Rugby members and their guests, with guest speakers from the World of Rugby. It is also an opportunity for those who work in the City to bring clients, their friends or relations to a Rugby event. For those who do not work in London, it is a chance to enjoy a beer “up in the smoke”.

We will be hosting this at The East India Club, St James Square. A famous city establishment that has been in existence since the 19th Century and has been the London home of the Rugby Football Union. Founded in the 19th Century for those working for the East India Company and commissioned officers of H.M Army & Navy. It is truly an iconic venue.

This is a fundraising event and enjoyment is the priority. Any proceeds will go to the Club.

Our guest speakers will be Hugh Vyvyan, former Saracens & England, a great mate of Steve Borthwick, and Andrew Mower, a former London Irish, Newcastle & Scotland international – a very funny man. They will also conduct a Q&A session.

There is also an auction and the obligatory raffle!  If you cannot attend the event, then maybe you can help and provide an auction or a raffle prize.

The day itself will have an MC, our own Simon Greenhill. He is fresh from his roles in the Rugby World Cup and other entertainment venues.  This larger than life character has vast experience in the world of entertainment and will have things running smoothly.

To be part of this Inaugural event, we would relieve you of £95 per person, but, if you can get a table of 10, friends, clients and/or business associates, then the cost is £90 per head. Spaces are limited and will be on a first come first served (paid for basis).
