I am pleased to announce that Wentworth Golf Club have donated the following as a May Ball auction item; and for those golfers who are not attending the ball, here is your opportunity to take part in the bidding by means of a silent auction.
The day will commence with breakfast, followed by a round of golf on the West Course at Wentworth Golf Club with the Captain, you and a friend/client and Jeremy Guscott. Followed by lunch for two people.
Wentworth is the home of the European PGA Championship, the largest tour event in Europe and probably the 6th largest golf event in the World of golf. Also, previously home to the World Match play championship whose winners included Arnold Palmer, Jack Nicklaus, Gary Player, Seve and Nick Faldo amongst many other great names.
This opportunity gives two people the chance to play with “The Prince of Centres” and the Captain of Wentworth, (Compulsory). Wentworth can now only be played with members and this exclusive club now boasts the only sub air greens in the UK; the same as Augusta National the home of the Masters. They are regularly 11 + on the stint so bring your “A” putting game. The rough is 100 mm, same as the US open. The yardage is 7300 with no run! For this reason, this prize is not for the beginner golfer. If you are new to the game, then one of the other two courses at Wentworth can be played. Suggested minimum handicap 18 for the West or 28 for the others.
This incredible offer is valid until 31st May 2019.
Jeremy Guscott played centre for Bath between 1984 and 2000 amassing 710 points from 266 appearances. Between 1989 and 1999 he scored 143 points for England from 65 appearances. He also played for the British and Irish Lions in 1989, 1993 and 1997.
If you wish to bid for this offer please e-mail Geraint here who will not accept bids below £1000.
