Chobham RFC use England Rugby’s Game Management System (“GMS”) to manage club membership, along with match fixtures, results and player registrations. Membership paid via Direct Debit will be collected over the 8 months September through April. ALL members need to renew every year – even in paying by Direct Debt – memberships do not roll over All membership renewals are due by October 31st 2023 We do not wish to see anyone prevented from playing due to financial hardship – contact the club in confidence if help is needed. Renewal this year consists of 3 steps which MUST BE DONE FOR EACH PERSON Step 1 - Verify data is correct Step 2 – Affiliate as a Player – (Mini, Junior, Senior, Touch, Walking, Mixed Ability.) Step 3 – Renew Membership for 2023/24 All activity is done via the RFU GMS system – a link is provided at the end of this training and on the CRFC website. Use your login credentials which should be the same as last year. Use the password reset link if you need to reset your password If you are a renewing member and do not know your login ID or email you used - DO NOT CREATE A NEW ACCOUNT – contact
Each of the following steps need to be repeated for each family member Move to another family member by clicking on their picture / avatar on the left of the screen
At any time you can return to your dashboard by clicking on your profile picture / avatar in the top right of the screen which will open the full menu for you
It is vital these details are kept up to date as this is the official record the club keeps for you. Keeping this data up to date is the responsibility of the member.
Clicking on the 3 vertical dots next to the currently selected individual and selecting “Edit Details” will take you to a screen where you can review and edit your personal and contact information
Once in the ‘Details’ screen, clicking on the pencil icon on any of the sections will allow you to amend that entry. Once complete save your entries
Make sure you click "Save" on any changes
This step is ONLY for playing members. Non-playing parents / social members SHOULD NOT Register themselves as players
1. Click on the player you wish to affiliate to Chobham RFC 2. Click on “Renew Registration” or “Register as Player” (this will depend on whether they were registered at Chobham as a player last season)
You will now be taken through a screen to - confirm contact details (check), - consents (tick box) and - enter any medical conditions that the player has that the club needs to be aware of. - Complete all sections then click “Save”
“Player Registration Renewal Completed” for renewing players or “Your Registration is now pending approval” for new players
After saving you will be presented with either :
- Use the profile menu on the top right of the screen to return to your dashboard - Select the 3 vertical dots by Chobham RFC and select “Buy Membership”
This will take you to a screen to buy membership for each family member
- The screen will tell you which memberships each family member has currently and allow you to add to cart - Select each family member in turn using their picture / avatar on the left hand side
As you add memberships you can see who has one in the “basket” - Once complete select the “Checkout” button at the top of the screen - This will now allow you to select whether you pay by Card or DD
Please read the next section carefully to ensure you pick the right payment options - Sibling and multi-membership discounts will be applied at the checkout - Ensure you select an option from BOTH sections below - Select day of the month payments taken if you play to pay in installments - Double check you have the right selections before pressing “Pay Now”
·- First payment will ALWAYS come out 5 days after membership order is created - Payments will appear on your statement as “First Sport” NOT Chobham RFC
- If you do not currently have a DD mandate setup for membership and you have selected Direct Debit as your payment type, the system will now allow you to setup a mandate. Once all completed - you’ll see an “Order Success” summary, receive a confirmation email. Then click Finish to close it. If you return to your main Dashboard you should see the membership for the 2023-2024 season against each person
