We are in World Cup year! Please read the following notice from Surrey Rugby:
” A lot of activity is taking place county wide as well as the World Cup matches themselves.
Surrey Rugby is receiving a large amount of information about activities. These activities will be of interest to existing rugby fans as well as potential new fans caught up in the World Cup.
Is your Club or School holding a World Cup related event? Then you need to tell us about it!
We need Surrey Clubs and Schools to tell us about your events so we can help you spread the word! We can do this via our website as well as our social media pages.
We are looking to locate a Point Of Contact (POC) to send any World Cup information to our Clubs, Schools and Rugby Fans at the most effective times over the next eight months.
We don’t want to send it through the normal channels, who are already busy enough. Our aim is to find POC in EVERY Club. This should be a new person or several people to be the communications conduit for information coming into and out of the Club.
We will be needing proactive people to contribute to an on line news community via Social Media in particular. We URGENTLY need your POC’s to contribute, to help build awareness for the events surrounding the Rugby World Cup in our area”
Chobham Rugby will have activities to feed into the system, and we need you to receive info about events that may interest the members.
